It's harder than ever to make it as a creative. Here's an idea that might help.
"Performing arts content" is pleasantly general. In theory I (and I'm sure I speak for others) would in principle be willing to pay $5/mo for content that interested me/us. One would need to have a better idea of what such content would comprise.... The goal of allowing a performing artist to sustain themselves this way is a very ambitious one, and I'm not sure how many "creators" would aspire to success on such a platform.. (I post music I make in Archive.org, but have no ambitions to make money from it --- do it just to entertain myself, and I think many feel this way.) Despite the reservations and questions here, I refer you back to my first sentence: Yes, I would be willing to do so should the content interest me.
